Aaron was born at Kootenai Medical to Michael Johnson and Elaine Price. He was two months early weighing a mere 3 lbs. 13 oz.
Aaron’s heart to help others was always on show. Aaron was a devoted son focused on taking care of his father for the past several years until his father’s death in April of 2023. While Aaron faced his own challenges, he remained dedicated to helping his father, mother, and family.
Sorenson, Lakes Middle School and Lake City High School were his public school experiences. He enjoyed school, participated in city park and rec sports, cub scouts, boy scout and Awanas. In high school, his true heart showed when he joined the volunteer club, where he eventually became president of the club. He was also part of the choir, something he enjoyed doing at church, and at school. In high school Aaron made the decision to selflessly serve our country. His dad and mom had to sign papers so he could join at 17 in the future soldier program. He graduated in 2010, and three days later he was off to basic training in Georgia. He served just shy of 4 years, being medically honorably discharged due to a knee injury. Aaron worked in manufacturing, most recently for a publishing company in Post Falls, Idaho.
Aaron is survived by his mom, Elaine Johnson Price (Richard), his younger brother Jacob Johnson (Kate Williams), stepbrother Jameson Price (Michelle Cowart), stepsister Lauren Price, adopted brother JJ Melkonian (Amanda and son Elijah), his niece Elise Johnson, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Michael and Nancy Johnson, paternal grandparents, Lester and Eleanor Johnson, and father, Michael W Johnson.
A Remembrance will be held at 424 East Wallace Avenue on November 18, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a future education account will be set up for Elise in his honor. Any donation can be dropped off at First Interstate Bank, or mailed to 1107 East Sherman Avenue, Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, 83814. Check should be made payable to Elaine Price.
