Sheriff’s Media Release

SPIRIT LAKE – Kootenai County Sheriff Robert Norris, Kootenai County Prosecutor Stanley Mortensen, and Spirit Lake Mayor Jeremy Cowperthwaite will host a public press conference on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. to address information released, and the process of a critical incident regarding the Spirit Lake Police Officer involved shooting that occurred on November 1, 2023. 

All Spirit Lake Citizens are encouraged to attend.
