Free Community BBQ Set for Saturday, June 22

COEUR d’ALENE, Idaho – On Saturday, June 22 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) is hosting a community partnership bar-b-que. The free event is part of the community outreach program and marks the county’s celebration of National Safety Month.

A vendor fair will be staged in the parking lot of Black Sheep Sporting Goods at 200 West Hanley Avenue in Coeur d’Alene. The event will include CPR and K9 demonstrations as well as displays of the mobile evidence trailer, SWAT response vehicle, marine boats, and fire equipment. The drone team and the helicopter program will also participate and Kootenai County Fire and Rescue will represent the fire districts.

KCSO welcomes the community to “explore an array of emergency vehicles up close, learn life-saving techniques with CPR demonstration and indulge in complimentary barbecue … We are excited to announce a bustling vendor fair, featuring local artisans, businesses, and organizations offering a range of products and services.”
