Press Release from the Kootenai County Board of Commissioners
February 24, 2025 — The Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) has no association with what occurred over the weekend. The elected officials are accountable to county voters and are not subject to BOCC directives. There is an ongoing investigation as to the events from this past weekend and until that is finalized the BOCC has no comment. We ask that people consider allowing for the investigation to finish before drawing conclusions.
