Press Release from Coeur d’Alene Police Department
On January 31, 2025, Coeur d’Alene Police Detectives were contacted by a female victim who reported being drugged and raped several times by her boyfriend, identified as Frank V. Cunningham. The victim found video evidence, recorded by Cunningham, and believes the videos may have been posted to the internet. Detectives obtained a search warrant for Cunningham’s residence and recovered additional evidence corroborating the victim’s allegations.
On February 7, 2025, Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Cunningham, charging him with three counts of Rape and three counts of Video Voyeurism. On February 8, 2025, with the help of several local and federal law enforcement agencies, Cunningham was located in Spokane, Washington and taken into custody without incident.
Frank V. Cunningham is a 40-year-old male from Coeur d’Alene. He was booked into the Spokane County Jail and will be extradited back to Kootenai County.
