Florida Man Sentenced to Prison for Two Counts of Lewd Conduct With Minor Under the Age of Sixteen

Press Release from Kootenai County Prosecutor’s Office

Jeppsnel Saint Louis, 36, was convicted of two counts of Lewd Conduct With a Minor Under Sixteen. The charges stemmed from an incident on April 24, 2024, where Jeppsnel took two different minor children—both 15-years-old—to a hotel room and provided them with alcohol before sexually abusing the two children. The sexual abuse included Saint Louis engaging in manual-genital, oral-genital, and/or genital-genital contact with the children. Saint Louis denied having sex with either child. However, when one of the children tested positive for gonorrhea following the incident, Saint Louis was also tested and found to have gonorrhea.

Lewd Conduct With a Minor Under Sixteen is a felony, punishable by up to life in prison. Saint Louis was sentenced on March 18, 2025, by District Judge Ross Pittman.

Saint Louis’ criminal history includes convictions for assault, eluding police, and theft.

At sentencing, Chief Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Art Verharen recommended a unified sentence of life in prison with parole eligibility after 20 years.

District Judge Ross Pittman sentenced Saint Louis to a unified 15-year prison sentence with parole eligibility after 5 years.

Prosecuting Attorney Stanley T. Mortensen thanks Art Verharen for prosecuting the case and the Post Falls Police Department for investigating the case.
