Anti-choking Devices Donated to Sheriff’s Office

HAYDEN, Idaho — On April 30, Mike Quinn from the Coeur d’Alene Elks Lodge presented Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office with 100 donated anti-choking devices.

Anti-choking devices donated to KCSO.

“The Sheriff thanks the men and women of the CDA Elks Lodge,” stated Sheriff Bob Norris. “We appreciate their dedication and commitment to the community and their Sheriff’s Office.”

The anti-choking device will be deployed in patrol vehicles and marine vessels.

Each kit includes a Senvok suction device with a one-way valve, pediatric and adult sized masks, and a set of instructions all stored within a durable portable bag.

The device is designed to be portable to be used quickly and safely to clear airway obstructions, prevent choking, and save lives.
