Press Release from Idaho Transportation Department

COEUR d’ALENE. Idaho – Drivers on U.S. Highway 95 at the Spokane River Bridge in Coeur d’Alene should plan for delays of up to 30 minutes on Thursday, April 4, 2024, as crews conduct a routine inspection of the bridge structure during daylight hours.

This process requires the use of an under bridge inspection truck (UBIT) which features a platform that can lower crews beneath the structure for inspection. The truck will be positioned atop the bridge, requiring the closure of a single lane to allow for crews and equipment to safely complete their work.
